Q) Do you refer patients to specialists?

While we perform the majority of our own oral surgery, dental implant placement, and root canal procedures, when we believe a specialist would better serve you, we’ll refer. We do have an endodontist (root canal specialist) come to our office every other week to treat our patients who need advanced root canal procedures. You can be sure that should we recommend a follow-up with a specialist, we refer to only trusted professional with whom we have a good rapport.

Q) Can you show me a preview of my smile?

Yes, we can create a virtual preview of your smile with digital imaging software or a computerized wax model designed to show you the esthetic benefits of the treatment we propose. All Invisalign patients are presented with a 3-D video simulation, called a ClinCheck, that shows the proposed final result with Invisalign. Only when you have approved the final proposal is Invisalign treatment started. A smile preview provides valuable information when helping you decide which treatments are right for your smile, budget, and lifestyle.

Q) What are my options to replace missing teeth?

We offer many options, including dental implants, bridgework, removable complete dentures, removable partial dentures, and implant-supported dentures. Your dentist will evaluate your mouth and the condition of your jawbone, explain your options, and help you determine the best replacement method for your individual situation.

Q) I don’t like visiting the dentist. Can you help me relax?

Absolutely! Our staff and doctors offer a variety of methods to soothe anxious patients. We’ve created a comfortable, inviting atmosphere and offer computerized anesthesia delivery, including Single Tooth Anesthesia and the Wand for comfortable, precise numbing. Our dentists have an excellent chairside manner and are highly trained in performing comfortable, efficient dentistry. We can also offer oral sedation to calm nervous patients. You won’t be asleep during your treatments, but you will experience freedom from anxiety for a positive experience. Many patients find that after experiencing the hospitality of our team and our comfortable approach to dentistry, they don’t need extra measures to curb anxiety.

Q) Will you accept my dental insurance?

If your insurance plan lets you pick your dentist, then we can accept your insurance. Our front office team will electronically submit your insurance claim and work with your insurance company to expedite processing and maximize benefits. Dr. Cnossen and Dr. Tubo are preferred providers for Blue Cross Blue Shield and Delta Dental Premier. Call if you have questions.

Q) What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. Third-party financing is available through CareCredit and Springstone Financing, often with low- or no-interest payment plans for qualified applicants. Please see the CareCredit website for more information and to complete an application online. We provide other financing options as well. Call us for more information. We want to make quality dental care affordable for all of our patients!

Payment/Insurance Options

We understand how limited and expensive traditional dental insurance can be. That’s why we’ve partnered with Quality Dental Plan. With our in-house savings plan, many of our preventive services are fully covered while discounts are possible for many of our restorative and cosmetic services. For patients with traditional insurance, we’re more than happy to file a claim with your provider, even when we’re out of your network. Our Whitinsville office accepts payment with cash, check, all major credits, and third-party financers like CareCredit.
